Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Did you know breast cancer is the most common cancer globally? There are around 2.3 million new cases every year. Internationally, October is recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For any individual, young or old, it is important to stay on top of your health because breast cancer does not discriminate. The National Breast Cancer Foundation has educational guides for you and your loved ones. These guides talk about things like the importance of early detection and how to prepare for a mammogram. You can also read about nutrition during treatment and find other types of helpful resources.

Living and working abroad can be tough, especially if you don’t speak the language. But with your GeoBlue® health plan, you’ve got some useful tools to help you. It’s like having a virtual healthcare translator with you all the time. |
Medical Translations
This tool helps you translate medical phrases and terms from your language to other languages. For example, you can translate your symptoms to your doctor from Japanese to English or the other way around. It even gives you spoken and written translations! |

Medicine Equivalents
This tool shows you the names of medicines you know from your home country and tells you what they are called in another country. For instance, if you’re not sure what your headache medicine is called where you are now, just use the medicine equivalents tool. You can enter where you’re from and where you are, and it will give you the name you need. |
