Smart Habits for a Healthier You

Photo of fruits and vegetables - March: National Nutrition Month

You are what you eat! This saying is known globally, and this month is a perfect time to reflect on it because it’s National Nutrition Month in the U.S. This month focuses on making informed food choices and developing healthy eating and exercise habits. What you fuel your body with matters. Opting for nutritious whole foods is the best form of preventive care. Eating well can lower your risk of Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. It can also boost your energy and improve sleep, brain health, digestion and more. Changing your diet habits can feel overwhelming but taking some time out of the week to plan your meals can help put you on the right track. Your future self will thank you!
